Hi bloggers… let me tell you what I did when I didnt go to camp. We played fun math games like num 123 and dots and boxes. On Thursday we had this super cool competition we were in groups of 3, our group name was The Boys. We made a 10 second ping pong track. The ping has to go exactly 10 seconds. It was really fun. The thing I most enjoyed was working together and working with other people. We even did minecraft where we built an eco house. An eco house is  made out of nature like a pumpkin roof a farm or maybe a solar panel perhaps.

My eco house was really cool it had a pumpkin roof a farm and also a underground storage room  with a nature thrown. It was super cool. In our ping pong ball challenge we had averges our avrege was 8.73 we were second place. Let me tell you how we made our ping pong ball track. First we connected our wooden blocks with tape so it would be steady inuff. Then we put kebab sticks to connect it we tan built an platform so the ball would land propaly. Yesterday we toook part in a 10 second ping pong ball cahllenge let me tell you what we did. First we were in groups of 3 we worked together as a team, we were all given the same materials to build a 10 second ping pong ball track. We were given a news paper ice block sticks kebab sticks tape and paper and straws. First we connected the wooden blocks with tape so it can get stable. Next we conected the kebeb sticks so the ping pong ball would go. Then we sticked the straws  together so there would be more support for our track. We sticked the ice blocks to make a tunnel then we used the paper to make a tunnel we sticked it with tape to be steady. We had 50 miniute timer. We then timered are ping pong  times both were 9 seconds but the third try we got 10.5 seconds we got happy. Then after the final toches we had a competion are group was called the boys. After some while it was our turn first I rolled the ping pong ball then surya did then Amir did and then Mr Riceman did it and our final average was 8.7925 close to 10 seconds and guess what we were 2nd place 1st place was rasina’s group 9.08 seconds so they were the closet to 10 seconds . To be honest I would rather play head shoulders nees and toes than I would spend 50 minutes building. But still it was a lot of fun building and working together. On thursday 24th. We made quilts in manukua with Ms Kneller. We had to chose are own buddy my buddy was Alhamd. We then got quilts of diffrent colours and paterns. Alhamd taped evreything well I gave him the tape. Ms Kneller teached me how to take tape. After evreyone was done we put evreyone ‘s quilts together. It didnt look good in the photo but did look good with no photo. We put all the colous in the same line pink and pink blue and blue and the other colours together. Here’s a photo of the quilts evreyone made in manukua. Have fun.

Kia ora I am Krish this is my first blog post of term two. For the past few weeks we have been reading novels my novel is called Just a dog let me tell you what it is about. So it is about a dog called Mr Mosely and he was adopted by a family careing family. In the family the character’s are Dad,Mom,Corey,Amelia and Mr Mosely. I never chose books like this but i had a go and the novel was great. You should read this g novel Just a dog it’s great.The book was a bit short but its was still great.   Last week it was anzac day we learned things about anzac day. We first got excited because we thought we were going to war against each other . But then it didn’t turn into any fun. First we crawled under strings and we learned about all the wars in maths it was a pretty buzy session. We marched back and forth back and fourth in lines. We even watched a movie about anzac day it was cool . Finally we took of the strings in our groups and we  also lined up to get lolies after from Ms Najak . I learned so many things and also some facts about anzac day . We basically did everything under the wires or strings. It was a pretty rough and a anxious day.

On Thursday our class went to the Auckland Museuam. We were learning about volcanoes. I learnt about the lava rising up and exploding. My favourite part was seeing the World War exhibition beacause you get to see the people who fought in the war.

On Monday it was athletics day at school. We had activities like high jump, long jump, shot put and sprints. My favourite was long jump beacause you jump and jumping is fun.  I want to get better at high jump beacause I knocked the pole out that is what I want to be better at.

Last week was Moari Language Week. We made some koru art. We had to use warm colours and cool colours .

I like the warm colours that I used because it looks like sunshine to me.

Next time I would make the koru shape a little darker.

Here are my group’s Lego towers we had to build  a tower and then our teacher shook them on a board like an earthqake. All of them fell. We had to rebulid them but make changes to improve them. They lasted longer the second time.

I like that they were a little stable in the second one.

Its fun that you bild difrent thing for evrey tower.

Next time i would add some more blocks beacause it looks to basic.
