On Thursday our class went to the Auckland Museuam. We were learning about volcanoes. I learnt about the lava rising up and exploding. My favourite part was seeing the World War exhibition beacause you get to see the people who fought in the war.
On Monday it was athletics day at school. We had activities like high jump, long jump, shot put and sprints. My favourite was long jump beacause you jump and jumping is fun. I want to get better at high jump beacause I knocked the pole out that is what I want to be better at.
Last week was Moari Language Week. We made some koru art. We had to use warm colours and cool colours .
I like the warm colours that I used because it looks like sunshine to me.
Next time I would make the koru shape a little darker.
Here are my group’s Lego towers we had to build a tower and then our teacher shook them on a board like an earthqake. All of them fell. We had to rebulid them but make changes to improve them. They lasted longer the second time.
I like that they were a little stable in the second one.
Its fun that you bild difrent thing for evrey tower.
Next time i would add some more blocks beacause it looks to basic.
Last week we had a visit from some people from the Corban Esatate Art Centre. They came to teach us how to create 3D paper valcono art.
I like my valcono thats shaped like cone.
Next time I would make my valcono bigger.
